About qabbel.mt

Qabbel is Maltese for “compare” — and that’s the whole product. The UK has had comparison sites for twenty years; Malta mostly hasn’t, partly because our market is small and partly because it’s genuinely different: one electricity provider, three telecom networks, insurers who quote person-by-person.

So qabbel.mt is built for how Malta actually works. We compare the things that can be compared here — internet, mobile and TV across GO, Melita and Epic, and insurance across Malta’s established insurers — and we skip the categories where there’s no real choice.

Two principles run through everything:

• True cost over promo bait. Every plan shows the average monthly cost over the full contract — promos, setup fees and all — next to the advertised price.
• Rankings are never for sale. Providers can sponsor a labelled highlight; they cannot buy position. See how we make money.
