About Melita

Melita's cable network reaches practically every address in Malta and Gozo, its Flexi bundles always include TV Starter, and pairing with an Endless mobile plan cuts €5/month off the account.

About Epic

Epic runs a newer fibre network with the sharpest promos in Malta (typically 50% off the first year), free home telephony, and TV as a cheap optional add-on instead of a bundled default.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper, Melita or Epic?

Both lean heavily on promos — Melita gives months free up front, Epic halves the price for the first year. Which wins depends on the speed tier, so the tables on this page rank both by true monthly cost over the whole contract, recalculated from the live catalogue.

What's the difference between cable and fibre internet in Malta?

Melita uses DOCSIS cable, which covers virtually every address and delivers up to 2.5 Gbps. Epic uses fibre-to-the-home, which is very fast and consistent but has a smaller footprint. For most households the practical difference at equal speed tiers is small — availability at your address matters more.

Do I have to take TV with Melita?

Melita's headline Flexi bundles include TV Starter by design — it's how Melita prices internet. If you specifically want internet without TV, Melita also sells internet-only plans, and Epic treats TV as an optional €6.99 add-on.

Which is better for mobile, Melita or Epic?

Melita's Endless plans are strong on roaming allowances and start with a €9.99/month promo; Epic's promos are similarly aggressive and include the home-internet discount in the advertised price. The live mobile comparison on this page shows the current winner by true cost.
